Colleen Hoover, the executive producer of It Ends With Us came out in support of Blake Lively, after the actor accused her co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and a smear campaign against her.

On Saturday (December 21, 2024), Ms. Hoover took to her Instagram stories to share her support for Blake Lively. She wrote, “@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”

Lively’s complaint obtained by The Associated Press, which The New York Times reported was filed Friday (December 20, 2024) with the California Civil Rights Department, precedes a lawsuit. It names Baldoni, the studio behind the romantic drama It Ends With Us and Baldoni’s publicists among the defendants.

The complaint also says Baldoni “abruptly pivoted away from” the movie’s marketing plan and “used domestic violence ‘survivor content’ to protect his public image.”

In a statement to The New York Times, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”
