Alexander Dunn of School of Mathematics, Georgia Tech, U.S., was presented with the SASTRA-Ramanujan Award 2024 at a function at Srinivasa Ramanujam Centre, Kumbakonam on December 22.

According to a university release, the award was presented to the mathematician by Nalini Ravishanker, Statistics Professor, University of Connecticut, U.S.. The recipient delivered the Ramanujan birthday commemorative lecture on the occasion. The award carries a cash prize of $10,000 and a citation, the release added.
