42 students to go on educational tour to Singapore for a week

The Silver Jubilee celebration ‘Statue of Wisdom’, to mark the 25th anniversary of the installation of Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanyakumari, was inaugurated under the Directorate of Public Libraries at the Anna Centenary Library. “Various events such as speech competition, Thirukkural competition and quiz competitions will be held in the district libraries,” he added. An exhibition on Thiruvalluvar and Thirukkural will be held on the occasion.
