Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC) Chief Justice (CJ) Dhiraj Singh Thakur and other judges bid farewell to Justice G. Narendar, who has been elevated as the CJ of Uttarakhand HC, on Tuesday.
On the occasion, the Chief Justice said Justice Narendar’s judgments reflected the fundamental principles of the judiciary, and would serve as a beacon for the upcoming judges.
He appreciated Justice Narendar’s contributions to the judiciary, and observed that in spite of his short stint in the A.P. HC, Justice Narendar resolved numerous cases with ease and a great degree of efficiency.
Justice Narendar expressed gratitude to Mr. Thakur and his other colleagues on the Bench, lawyers, judicial officers and staff for the love and affection showered on him.
Advocate General (A-G) Dammalapati Srinivas, A.P. HC Bar Association president K. Chidambaram, Deputy Solicitor General Ponna Rao, Additional A-G E. Sambasiva Pratap, Public Prosecutor M. Lakshminarayana and HC Registrar General Y. Lakshmana Rao were among those present.
