Two-day music programme concludes in Coimbatore

The two-day Coimbatore Margazhi Vaibhavam concluded on Sunday with a carnatic music concert by vocalist Nisha Rajagopalan at the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Vadavalli in the city.

A press release said that over 600 people participated in the music programme, organised by BAM Events and Studio, on the two days.

Ms. Nisha Rajagopalan was joined by Ramesh Bafna, Managing Director of Mount Housing Infrastructure; Guru, Managing Director of Savitri Photo House; Hariharan, Deputy General Manager of State Bank of India, and Ambra Mohan, curator of Coimbatore Margazhi Vaibhavam, at the inaugural of Sunday’s concert. The Hindu was the media partner.

There was an appeal by the participants to make it an annual event, said the organisers in the press release.
