State Election Commission to revise voters’ lists in 31 local body wards


The State Election Commission is revising the voters’ lists in 31 local body wards ahead of byelections to fill vacancies.

The draft lists will be published on January 3 and the final lists, on January 28, State Election Commissioner A. Shajahan said. Citizens can apply from January 3 to January 18 for enrollment. The applicants should have turned 18 years on or before January 1, 2025.

Applications can be filed online on www.sec.kerala.gov.in. Bypolls are to be held to 31 local body wards in 13 districts including the Sreevaraham ward in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, two block panchayat wards, three municipality wards and 25 grama panchayat wards.
