Mysuru Palace Flower Show turns out to be a crowd-puller with music, flower exhibitions, dance, and more


The Mysuru Palace Flower Show -2024 has drawn large crowds as the cultural programmes that are part of the show were turning out to be a highlight with top musicians entertaining the audiences in the backdrop of the illuminated palace.

Lakhs of flowers were used to create different attractions in the flower exhibits. In addition to that, music and dance programmes were a major attraction.

On Sunday evening, noted singer Vijay Prakash from Mysuru performed amidst the cheering crowds. He sang some of his hit numbers.. ‘Singara Siriye’ from the movie Kantara, ‘Bombe Heluthaithe’ from Rajakumara, and ‘Belageddu Yaara Mukava Naanu Nodide’ from Kirik Party were among the songs he sang.

The palace flower show will conclude on December 31. The New Year will be welcomed after the performance of the police band with fireworks using green crackers. The 38-foot Akshardham temple replica with a breadth of 60 feet and a length of 30 feet is the main attraction of the flower show.

Besides the flower show, the Mysuru Palace Board also conducted exhibitions of old photographs. Doll keepers of Mysuru also put up a show on the palace premises to introduce the tradition of dolls among tourists.
