‘Ignored’ Allu Arjun’s father-in-law leaves Congress office

Film actor Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, K Chandrashekhar Reddy faced some embarrassing moments at the Congress party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan on Monday when he did not get a response from AICC incharge for Telangana, Deepa Dasmunshi.

Mr. Reddy, who was an aspirant of the Congress ticket from Ibrahimpatnam constituency and joined the party from the BRS, before the elections, did not get a proper response from Ms. Dasmunshi as she was leaving for airport. He left the place after speaking to her for a couple of minutes.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud was addressing a press conference at that time and Mr. Reddy left without waiting, apparently feeling ignored. However, Mr. Goud later called up Mr. Reddy and spoke to him.

Mr. Goud told the media that he could not meet Mr. Reddy as he was addressing a press conference while describing him as a good friend. “I spoke to him over the phone and informed him that I will meet him personally in a couple of days,” he said.
