Farmers’ grievances redressal meeting in Erode on December 26


The monthly farmer’s grievance redressal meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on December 26, at the Erode Collectorate. A press release from Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara said that farmers can submit their petitions from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and can air their grievances during the meeting scheduled to be held from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Officials will give explanations from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., the release added.

Special buses for Christmas

The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Coimbatore) Limited, Erode Region, will operate 40 special buses to various destinations for Christmas till December 25. A release said apart from regular buses, 40 special buses will be operated from Erode to Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Madurai, Chennai, Tiruchendur, Rameswaram, Palani, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil and Thanjavur. The release asked the travelling public to utilise the services.
