Farming will be lucrative with adoption of new technologies, says expert

Action in Rural Technology and Service (ARTS) non-governmental organisation Director Nuka Sanyasi Rao said that the farming could be lucrative when new technologies were adopted under the guidance of agriculture scientists, officials of agriculture and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

ARTS members celebrated National Farmers Day near Peddapeta of Burja mandal of Srikakulam district on Monday (December 23, 2024).

Several students of nearby schools took part in the event and observed agriculture activity in the fields on the occasion. Mr. Sanyasi Rao said that the farmers would be able to earn more with inter-crop system and other techniques to get quick reaps.
