Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) project officer V. Abhishek inaugurated ‘Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutha Vocational Skill Development Training Centre’ for the empowerment of tribespeople at Sri Sathya Sai Girijan Seva Kendra at Urrada-Gadugupalli in Paderu.
Assistant director of Bankers Institute of Rural and Entrepreneurial Development, Hyderabad, D. Srinivas, who accompanied Mr. Abhishek, launched a free stitching and fashion design training programme for tribeswomen.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abhishek said the permanent skill development centre in the tribal area will provide employment opportunities to many, thereby contributing to social development.
State Skill Development in-charge K. Nagaprasad and Ammaji explained the skill development initiatives being undertaken by Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations.
Mr. Abhishek also participated in the 107th Sai Namami Shata Rudriyam at Sri Sathya Sai Mandir.
