Two persons held for murder of migrant worker in Kundrathur

The Kundrathur police arrested two youth for allegedly murdering a 35-year-old migrant worker from Bihar following a drunken brawl in the locality.

The police identified the victim as Manjai Paswan. The suspects were identified as Jitheyan Magara, 22, and Ram from Nepal. The three of them stayed at a private industrial unit and worked in Thirumudivakkam.

On Thursday night, a quarrel broke out among them when they were consuming alcohol. Following this, Jitheyan Magara and Ram stabbed Manjai Paswan with a knife, the police said.

Further investigation is on.
