At NR Milk House in Amberpet, the internal structures made of iron sheets were rusty, and the flooring was uneven, patchy and waterlogged, emanating a foul smell. The facility had a single toilet that opened directly into the manufacturing area, creating a risk of contamination. Both manufacturing and storage were carried out in unhygienic conditions. Pest control measures appeared absent, as pests such as houseflies, mosquitoes and cockroaches were observed. The inspectors also noted waste bags, wooden logs and plastic containers dumped on the floor, further compromising hygiene, said a release.
