CPI(M) Srikakulam district secretary D. Govinda Rao and other leaders releasing the Namo Adani-Current Kahani book written by M.V.S. Sarma in Srikakulam on Saturday.

CPI(M) Srikakulam district secretary D. Govindarao on Friday alleged that the Narendra Modi government was favouring corporate companies like Adani Group despite allegations and proofs of misdeeds of those companies. Along with other leaders, he released the Namo Adani-Current Kahani book written by former MLC M.V.S. Sarma in a meeting organised in Srikakulam.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Govindarao said that Mr. Sarma had provided many proofs about the corruption in power purchase agreements. He feared that the power charges would go up steeply with those agreements which were set to benefit the Adani Group in Andhra Pradesh and other States.
