One-way special train to Kumbh Mela from Mysuru


South Western Railway will operate a one-way special train to cater to the extra rush of passengers attending Kumbh Mela.

A release said Train No. 06216 Mysuru–Lucknow Jn One-Way Special Express, will leave Mysuru at 12.30 a.m. on Sunday, December 29, and reach Lucknow Jn at 4 a.m on Tuesday, December 31.

En route, the train will have stops at Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikjajur, Davangere, Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Ghataprabha, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Pune, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Talvadya, Chhanera, Khirkiya ,Harda, Banapura, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi and Kanpur Central stations.

The train will consist of 20 coaches, including, 11 second general class coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, and 2 SLR/D coaches.

Details of arrival and departure timings at each station are available on the Indian Railways website (www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in) or dial 139, according to a release.
