Six passengers of APSRTC bus received injuries after bus hit lorry in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district


As many as six passengers of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus received injuries after the bus in which they were travelling hit a lorry near Arikatoa of Ramabhadrapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district on Monday (December 23, 2024.)

According to locals, the bus coming from Vizianagaram hit the rear part of the lorry. The passengers sitting in the front seat received injuries. Other travellers struggled to bring them out from the bus. Later, they were shifted to nearby hospital.

The bus driver reportedly said that low visibility and sudden brake applied by the lorry driver led to the accident. The remaining bus passengers were shifted to other buses after the incident.
