Daksh and Open Day 2025, hosted by the University Student Council at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), kicked off on January 11, attracting over 8,000 students, parents, and educators. The two-day event aims to promote academic exploration and career guidance, highlighting the University’s vibrant culture, cutting-edge infrastructure, and diverse academic offerings.
With over 120 interactive stalls representing CHRIST campuses across Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Pune-Lavasa, the event provided valuable insights into undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programmes. Participants also benefited from personalised career counselling sessions designed to guide their educational and career choices.
Rev. Viju P. Devassey, Pro Vice-Chancellor of CHRIST University, inaugurated the event and emphasised the importance of an education that extends beyond the classroom, fostering innovation and social responsibility. Dr. Joshil Raj, CEO of the Centre for Excellence in Design, IISc Bengaluru, was the chief guest.
The event also featured the Trailblaze Competitions, which allowed school students to showcase their creativity and talent.
