Targeting the ruling Aam Aadmi Party on alleged corruption, the Delhi unit of the BJP on Saturday released the party’s campaign song for Delhi Assembly poll.
“For the past 10 years, Delhi people have suffered under the ‘AAP-da’ (disaster) government, which has misused public funds for personal luxury. The time has come for Delhiites to seek accountability and usher in change,” Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said. The song “Bahane Nahi, Badlav Chahiye; Delhi Mein BJP Sarkar Chahiye” (We don’t need excuses, but change; a BJP government is needed in Delhi) has been written and composed by BJP Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari.
Reacting to the song, AAP said Delhi demands law and order. “As Union Home Minister, Amit Shah must answer how many police personnel have been recruited, how many PCR vans added,” a party spokesperson said.
