Cyber fraud hacks MSIL Login credentials to buy 17 air tickets to Dubai

The Central division cyber crime police have registered a case against an unknown man who had purchased 17 air tickets by misusing the login credentials of Mysore Sales International Limited on Tuesday.

The incident came to light two days later when admin staff checked their websites and realised that 11 tickets out of 17 tickets had already been used to fly to Dubai from Mumbai while three of them came from Dubai to India. The administration immediately blocked the remaining three tickets which were scheduled from Delhi to Dubai .

Due to this online fraud the company has incurred a total loss of ₹2.8 lakh, Ravikumar K, admin staff of the MSIL, told the police in his complaint.

The complainant also shared the mobile numbers and email id used by the suspect to book the tickets from the company Id.

Based on the complaint, the police have initiated investigations and sought the details of the passengers who travelled with the stolen tickets.
