Industrial expo draws to a close in Puducherry

The two-day industrial exhibition organised by Confederation of Indian Industry in Puducherry drew to a close on Saturday. The exhibition was organised by the CII to showcase the manufacturing capabilities of firms in the Union Territory. 

According to a CII release, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy visited the stalls put up by the industries in Puducherry on the last day of the expo. He assured them that the government was committed to support the CII in such initiatives in the future. He complimented CII for its efforts to promote industrial development of the Union Territory. He assured the members that policy decisions would be taken to support the manufacturing sector and promote industrial growth, the release said.

Around 35 industries functioning in Puducherry participated in the exhibition by putting up their stalls.
