Representatives of Indian Embassy in Russia paid a two-day visit to Russian Enterprises Izhora plant, (the machine building division of the Rosatom State Corporation) and the Leningrad NPP (the electric power division of Rosatom).
Nikhilesh Giri, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy; Vivek Singha, First Secretary of Indian Embassy; and Swapnil Srivatsava, Head of Representatives of Atomic Power Corporation of India in the Russian Federation, participated in the visit. They were accompanied by Alexey Nekhoroshev, Chief Specialist of the Department of Organisational and Technical Support for the Construction Projects of Koodankulam NPP of JSC ASE.
Rosatom is a diversified holding company managing assets in energy, engineering, and construction. The Izhora production complex of the machine building division of Rosatom has manufactured and shipped over 10 sets of equipment for nuclear power plants. The Leningrad NPP is one of the largest power stations in Russia in terms of installed capacity 4,400 MW.
