Special weekend trains to be operated between Visakhapatnam and Araku to cater to festive rush


Special trains will be operated between Visakhapatnam – Araku– Visakhapatnam on Saturdays and Sundays to clear the extra rush of passengers and tourists going to Araku during the festive season.

Train no. 08525 Visakhapatnam -Araku Special Express train will leave Visakhapatnam at 8.30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from December 28 to January 19 to reach Araku at 11. 45 a.m. (10 trips)

In the return direction, 08526 Araku–Visakhapatnam Special Express will leave Araku at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from December 28 to January 19 to arrive in Visakhapatnam at 6 p.m. (10 trips)

These trains will halt at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, Shrungavarapukota and Borraguhalu

Composition: 2nd AC- 1, 3rd AC- 1,Sleeper Class- 10, General Second Class coaches- 4, Second Class cum Luggage Break Van (Divyangjan friendly) -2.

Divisional Railway Manager Manoj Kumar Sahoo appealed to travellers to take full advantage of the special train services being offered by the railways.
