The 43rd Annual Day celebration at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 at the Air Force Station in Sambra, Belagavi, was organised recently.

The event brought together students, teachers and parents for an unforgettable evening of talent, culture and community spirit.

It began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Group Captain Animesh Lalit Bhargav, Station Commander, Air Force Training School in Sambra.

Principal Sandeep Acharya welcomed the gathering and highlighted the school’s achievements in academics and extracurricular activities throughout the year.

He said that the school has been striving towards excellence in every field, while strongly emphasizing holistic development of each student.

Group Capt. Bhargav gave away prizes to meritorious students in the field of academics and co-curricular activities.

He expressed admiration for the dedication of students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in all aspects of life.

He also lauded the school for its holistic approach to education, focusing not only on academics but also on character-building and extracurricular development.

The guests of honour were Principal KV No 2 in the Military Cantonment area Mahendra Kalra and Principal KV No 3 Macche in Belagavi Anil.

The award ceremony was followed by a cultural programme that showcased the diverse talents of the students, ranging from classical dances to modern performances, skits and musical renditions.

The breathtaking performances left the audience spellbound. The Annual Day was a memorable event filled with enthusiasm, energy and a sense of accomplishment.

It truly reflected the spirit of Kendriya Vidyalayas where academic excellence and extracurricular talents go hand-in-hand, said a release.
