Man arrested for setting two-wheelers on fire in Chennai


The T.P. Chatram police in Chennai have arrested a 60-year-old man on charges of arson, in which four two-wheelers were reportedly destroyed. 

A senior official of the City Police said the suspect Natarajan lived in a rented accommodation owned by a person named Vinoth on Kilpauk Garden Road. Owing to a rental dispute between Vinoth and Natarajan, the latter allegedly set fire to four two-wheelers early on Monday (December 23, 2024).  

CCTV footage of the arsonist allegedly setting the two-wheelers on fire was circulated on social media.

Based on the complaint filed by Vinoth, the T.P. Chatram police arrested Natarajan. Further investigation is underway.
