Biopic on veteran actor Chandrababu in the works

The life of veteran Tamil comedian actor and singer Chandrababu is soon set to be made into a film. Global One Studios, the production banner behind films like Hey Sinamika, Raman Thediya Seethai and Charulatha, will be bankrolling the project.

According to a statement from the makers, the production house has acquired the life rights of the popular actor Chandrababu from his brother, Jawahar, as well as acquired the rights to the novel ‘JP: The Legend Of Chandrababu’, written by director K Rajeshwar, who has made movies such as Seevalaperi Pandi , Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi and Amaran .

Renowned writer, B Jeyamohan, is in charge of the film’s screenplay and dialogues while lyricist and writer Madhan Karky will contribute with additional screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics.

More details on the cast and crew of the film are expected to be announced soon.
