Teacher assaulted by student and father in Sagar

A student and his father allegedly assaulted a teaching faculty of the government first-grade college in Sagar for not being allowed to appear for the internal assessment examination due to a shortage of attendance.

Raju, the teaching faculty, filed a complaint alleging that the student, Nischay Kumar, and his father, Vijay Kumar, had assaulted him. G. Sannahanumappa, the principal, told the media that the teacher had denied the student an opportunity to appear for the test on Friday. Angry over the decision, the student and his father picked an argument with the teaching faculty and assaulted him.

The faculty was admitted to the government hospital in Sagar. Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar has also filed a complaint with the police alleging that the faculty assaulted him.
