Srinivas University scientist gets Materials Chemistry medal

Sandhya Shenoy, SERB (Science and Engineering Research Board) Research Scientist from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, Mangaluru has been awarded with the Society for Materials Chemistry Medal-2024 for her outstanding contributions to Materials Chemistry.

The medal was conferred on Ms. Shenoy by A.K. Tyagi, Distinguished Scientist, Department of Atomic Energy and Senior Professor at Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, at DAE Convention Centre, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai, recently.

Her research mainly involves materials for energy and environmental applications focusing on thermoelectric and photocatalytic properties. She is also the recipient of Associateship from Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru, a release said on Saturday.
